The United States Alternative Assets Collectible Cards Composite Index (USAACCCI) update for August 9, 2026.

The market is currently experiencing a market correction especially on the TCG side along with the summer lull. I believe the TCG correction on the modern cards are long overdue. The reality is many collectors either don’t even know most of the new Pokemon or even bothered to watch any of the new Pokemon episodes after than original series featuring the original 151 Pokemon. Unfortunately even the WOTC have not been spared at the lower to mid range markets. I personally think if the WOTC common non-holo or same period non-English official Pokemon cards are super cheap, it might not be a bad idea to load up on those within a few hundred dollars range.
