1. Ancient forests with secrets.
When you dream about these places, they usually have some key similarities. They are usually in some remote area with little modernity. They usually have some kind of linkage to some ancient civilizations that no longer exist or suddenly disappeared. The storyline typical also involves some kind of temple, old building, treasures and/or artifacts. Let’s not forget feeling eerily like something or somebody is watching you and monitoring your every move. For starters, the human civilization has been around for around 6,000 years so there will be such places as a result of human activities in these areas. Most of these places will likely be found near significant natural, non-man made water sources like rivers and lakes to easily secure water supplies, food supplies and for irrigation. In rare instances, when the rainfall is extremely low or when the area is experiencing drought, the riverbed becomes visible. Areas next to large non-man made water sources will also frequently be brimming with human activities throughout history because everyone wants to live there and conflicts to secure the area were inevitable. Depending how deep the water source is, its underwater floor may hold secrets beyond imagination not to mention the caves that the underground water usually flow through. The forests themselves may also have secrets such as secret hidden facilities or sites of ancient buildings.
2. Hidden islands.
Due to the invention of satellites, most land masses of any kind have been discovered. The undiscovered ones are sandbars that are basically temporarily formed due to sediment deposits found near shore. There could be treasures hiding inside of it. There are likely also near shore islands where small groups of ancient people who wanted a life away from mundanity.
3. Quicksand that lead to a mysterious underground palace.
When heavy rain occurs, places that were hollowed out to construct ancient world underground sites often accompany a collapse of the ground above them. These sites were constructed for a variety of reasons including for defense, storage, dwelling and transportation etc. While many of these places are well-publicized, there are likely many more hidden in ancient manuscripts regarding their locations and whereabouts. It is also to note that many cultures utilized astrological knowledge when constructing sites hence knowing a general area where the site might be in conjunction with astrological knowledge the ancients may have used in constructing such sites may be very helpful in locating these places.
4. Mysterious settlement on top of a mountain.
In ancient times, hermits, monks and those who were fleeing conflicts often lived in secluded, far flung areas of the world to avoid human contact. In those days, there were no man-made path to go up to the mountain tops. Those that were able to get up worked extraordinary hard to achieve this goal. In areas that rained, these places provided ample water and food sources to feed groups of people. Because many of these people lived there for years, they likely had much of their everyday items and valuable stored in the mountains. Hermits and monks may have left important manuscripts there. Many hermits and monks may have built small monasteries and temples or lived in caves when residing on the mountain tops.
5. Treasures in the attic.
What if you intentionally do this? Set a side a little amount of money and once in a while buy something you think that will go up in the value then ultimately put into a designed space in your storage room and just forget about it for a long while. When you think about it, aren’t a lot of stories about how someone obtained valuable collectibles either inherited or found in an attic/storage space?

6. Ancient shipwrecks.
See point number two. Those diving equipments are expensive. What if there was a better way to be near a shipwreck location, at shore and still able to scavenge some of the potential treasures that was carried to shore hidden inside of the sentiments on the sandbar?
7. Treasure map.
When something is already identified as value even if it’s just a conduit to finding something valuable, that derivative will likely be valuable too. However, there are also are a lot of treasure maps that are probably forgeries that lead to no where. The best bang for the buck treasure hunting methodology is probably finding clues in the media like books. Many ancient names and sites of even general areas are considered lost or ambiguous never mind finding the exact locations. Again, here is where knowledge and experience will allow you to see and interpret something different from others which may increase your success rate.
8. Immortality.
In reality, this already exist in nature for a few organism including the flatworm which has a brain. With AI and advances in bio-technological advances, it is likely within one or two centuries the human brain with its billions of neurons will be mapped out and with cell reproduction fully controllable, the human conscience could likely be downloaded, uploaded and transferred. The flatworm literally could grow a brain when it is sliced into half and still keep its old memories in its new beak .
9. Fountain of unlimited wealth.
Not trying to be funny or anything, but this one is probably the easiest to obtain. It is called compound growth. Any IRA may probably can do that nowadays with the right investment strategy.
10. Time travel to change the past and impact the future.
Maybe this will happen in a few centuries though time travel backward is probably very difficult. The reality is, the past affect the future and the future is impacted by the past. The causality is almost undeniable. The best way to affect the past is to change the anticipated outcome to the desirable outcome in the future. Literally one of the biggest reasons why someone that want to change the past is because it created an undesirable outcome for the future that one may have regretted that it happened. By doing things right the first time whenever possible and making rectifications to one’s best abilities is probably the most realistic methodology to utilize in lieu of a time machine.
