As I had mentioned before Lebron made his decision on his next team, I though the Pistons was the best balance between money and championship for Lebron. I also mentioned the Sixers was the second best option for him because it had the best team out of all his top choices but they could probably only offer him a veteran minimum which I felt like if Lebron accept would have devalued the imputed value of his business empire. With that being said, I believe Lebron’s championship aspirations will give him the best chance to win one or two championships. If he does win one or two more, he will likely become the undisputed GOAT in the eyes of many who knows basketball which will for sure likely increase the valuation of his business empire. Although Lebron signed for two years, however, his superstar and near superstar teammates are all likely to stay until the end of the 2028-2029 season. This means that Lebron realistic could stay a season or two longer if things go right given the super team won’t likely breakup for at least three more years. This means Lebron will most likely play in the 2030 decade matching Vince Carter’s record for playing in four different decades.
Before Lebron retires, at his current pace, he will likely be top 2 in assists and top 10 in rebounds in addition to being the all-time leader in points. I think Lebron is physically capable of playing at least five more years at an all-star level and can probably play a few more years as a solid bench player if he so choose to. When you look at the NBA landscape today, the NBA desperately need Lebron to play a few more years as there are no apparent new generation GOAT anywhere emerging at the moment. If Lebron can play a few more years to allow time for some of the current young superstars to develop into generational GOATs, it will help the sport tremendously. As long as Lebron is still in the league, the Lebron’s NBA era have not ended which is a very important physiological threshold for fans and the league. Lebron essentially represent the last great one at the moment with no new great ones anywhere in sight. Plus Lebron playing in the NBA with or against his kids in NBA games will probably be something that would start interest from the new generation of fans. I also think Bryce will likely grow to around 6 foot 8 which will allow him to play any position in this relatively positionless basketball area.

Lebron and the Sixers winning an NBA championship.
I think the Sixers will win at least one championship in the next five years and I think if Lebron does well with the team this coming season, he will likely play up to five years for the team. Five years will likely be enough for Lebron to reach 50,000 points and get his fifth or sixth championship if everything goes well. Plus if Lebron has momentum, even if he come up a bit short of the 50,000 points milestone, he will likely still get an opportunity somewhere in the NBA to get his 50,000 points if he wanted to. I think the Knicks, Celtics or any team in the East will not be able to defeat the Sixers in the next few seasons in a playoff series. I think the more realistic scenario is certain stars will want to join the Sixers even for veteran minimum or slightly higher salaries just to win a championship or two. There are a lot of players in the NBA now in this fragmented era of no dynasties and power parity that need certainty to secure their legacy. I think the Sixers current roster is as certain as it comes in terms of high probability of winning a championship. This roster in terms of talent is probably a historical level team. If they add another star or superstar, the team is literally one of, if not the greatest NBA team ever in terms of talents.
I think what will end up happening is the Sixers will dominate the East and edge out the eventual champion in the West. Embiid will probably have the overall upper hand against Wemby in the Finals. I foresee the Sixers going deep in the 2026-2027 playoffs and probably will end up with the trophy. What many people don’t realize is Lebron is going to help bring stability, leadership and most likely superstar free agents who want to play for the team he plays on especially with how strong of a roster the Sixers have now and its high championship winning probabilities. I think what will eventually happen is the Sixers will win one championship and will attract more players to join them for another championship or more. With the current contract structure and roster of the Sixers they can probably trade many of their near period draft picks away outright or draft then trade players to other teams to acquire another superstar, probably a superstar power forward who can also play center and small forward. I think the Sixers window to win a championship or two is probably five to six years which is actually a lot of time considering the low expectations of the Sixers fan base to win a championship after this point after a 40 plus year drought. Lebron is pretty much all about championships at this point as he know if he can equate Jordan’s championship numbers Lebron will most likely edge Jordan out for the GOAT status immediately and will likely become the undisputed GOAT in a decade or two. Lebron is also on track to become the first NBA player with 10 billion dollars or more and the richest African-American in history. When people realize who is the real GOAT, the GOAT money from sneakers and other among other things will start to follow towards Lebron’s way. I also believe despite what the detractors say, Lebron’s reputation as a transparent, hard working, Legendary GOAT, family man and a role model for many especially for many parents, likely have more aspirations after retirement and likely his second act will be just as great if not better than his first act as a basketball GOAT.
I have been accumulating Lebron’s lower-end under 10 dollars rookie cards for years and have been accumulating Bronny’s base rookie cards, numbered RPAs and his other rookie chase cards that are under under 100 USD for about two years. I stopped accumulating Bronny’s rookie cards because I believe his cards are now overvalued due to all the hype surrounding Lebron. Even though Bryce James is probably more physically gifted than Bronny, I think Bronny will probably have the better NBA than his brother. By the time Bryce play in the NBA, Bronny would have already played in the league for three years. I also think Lebron was pivotal in Bronny’s early NBA development which I think is critical to his future success. Lebron at that time already had maximum leverage with the Lakers which I think really gave Bronny’s career a boost. Bronny’s efficient on the court has improved immensely and basically just need more minutes to prove himself at this time in his career. With a guaranteed contract and a depleted Lakers team, he will probably get that opportunity next season. When Bryce comes to the league, if and when he does, will likely have to navigate a league environment without Lebron’s sway that he use to have around the league. This will probably not going to increase his chance of success if he wants to play in the Lebron alongside his father after playing in the NCAA for only one year on a competitive team that will likely have very few minutes for him. He will probably need at least three years in NCAA to be a legitimate NBA prospect if he wants to get into the league become a good player and play in the NBA the same time his father is in the league when Lebron’s powers in the league will have declined tremendously. I don’t recommend buying Bryce James’ future rookie cards if your sole intention is to get upside exposure to Lebron James’ potential future GOAT status crowning.
